The involvement of the Practice in the healthcare sector encompasses virtually every clinical specialty from maternity facilities to geriatric units, and as a consequence, the individuals concerned are fully conversant with NHS Estates procedures and standards. Thus they are able to talk comfortably with both clinical and estate staff in their own “language.” In addition, on several projects the Practice has given assistance to Hospital and Trust management in the formulation of Operational Policies and other briefing documents such as Room Data Sheets. For a number of Clients, property assessments have been undertaken to assess aspects of their estate such as condition appraisal, functional suitability and backlog maintenance.
