The project comprised the construction of an additional retail unit on an existing retail park located on the outskirts of Christchurch in Dorset . The original design had taken into account the possibility of future extension so the structure of the end unit in one of the two terraces had been designed accordingly. The works included site preparation, erection of a steel portal frame, masonry walls to part of the external envelope with profiled steel cladding to the remaining walls and the roof. Alterations were also undertaken to the car park in order to provide additional spaces plus a dedicated cycle route.
